Marketing and Communications Specialist (Remote)
Marcomm Inc. is hiring for a Communications Project Specialist!
The position of Communications Project Coordinator will support the development and execution of broad communications, plans and tactics to effectively communicate with employees about a variety of priority topics across several of 3M’s functional areas.
Additionally, the Communications Specialist will help coordinate content for employee-facing intranet site and print magazine.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Writing
• Convey the most important information and drive engagement and/or action through clear messaging and compelling employee-facing communication tactics, including articles, emails, and intranet content Communications Planning
• Develop comprehensive plans and communications materials for company leaders and project teams to achieve high-priority communication and business goals
• Consult with stakeholders across the company to advise on the best communication channel for the topic and audience.
• Participate in frequent and detailed measurement analysis by reporting communications metrics and impact to support continuous learning, data-driven decision making and the identification of best practices
Project Management
• Manage the creation and distribution of communications through a variety of approaches (intranet, email, digital signs, print materials, etc.)
• Partner cross-functionally with colleagues and vendors to ensure communications campaigns are executed accurately and on-time • Coordinate multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Assist with budget items, including opening purchase orders and ensuring vendors are paid correctly and on time Education: Undergraduate Degree (prefer English, Communications, Journalism, PR, etc.)
